„100 Years of Waldorf Pedagogy — Preserving Ashes or Lighting Fires?”
May 17-19th, 2019
Berlin, Germany

According to Rudolf Steiner it is a natural thing that all processes unhealthy or healthy, are bound to die. Making a wholistic, spiritual approach to education and humanity for the sake of a sound society is fought by the forces of egotism and fear. What Steiner calls the “consciousness soul epoch” contains, however, an appeal for not just sitting around and waiting for the fraught situation to pass by but to take it as a challenge in order to wake up, realize and strengthen our creative and spiritual cores.

The development of our school communities after 100 years deserves a caring and thorough look at what is left of the initial intentions, what is worth keeping and how we can help a phoenix grow from the ashes and create awareness of the tasks that lie ahead of us.
